Our filter in V60 was created with 4 basic criteria and of course to bring out the aromas in your cup.
1. Protection of the environment.
2. Precision in the number and size of openings to provide stability.
3. The particularity of the repeating pattern in origami requires a filter with greater development than those for V60. We designed without leaving undue gaps around the perimeter or at height.
4. Excellent fit with the walls of the device, ensuring adequate ventilation. Unlike devices designed to not allow water to escape (by-pass), the recesses of the device in their entirety leave a large area from which oils can exit that, due to their viscosity, collect on the surface of the fluid and are not easily entrained by water. The even distribution of the openings of our filter will contribute to the crowd we want to gather in our cup, whether we are happy with a rich dense body at 25um, with less oils at 20um or something in between the impulse.
