Our flat-bottomed cone filter was created with 4 basic criteria in mind and of course to bring out the aromas in your cup.
1. Protection of the environment.
2. Precision in the number and size of openings to provide stability.
3. In all cases of flat-bottomed extraction cones the filters used are filters with lateral curvatures (zigzag). This means that much of the ground beans will be trapped in their recesses, which will contribute to uneven extraction, but as the barista tries to re-wet them by carefully wetting them, a significant amount of water will pass outside the walls of the filter and through the walls of the device will end up in the jug without participating in the extraction.
4. The new range of Pythagora filters, with their innovative design ensures an excellent fit with the walls of the device, sufficient aeration but does not allow water to escape (by-pass) achieving the whole extraction through the ground grains.
